The Langhe invite you to wander, not to rush. Step outside and follow the curves of the hills, through vineyards, tiny villages, and countryside views that feel suspended in time. Barolo, La Morra, Serralunga d’Alba and Alba are just a short drive away – perfect for a wine tasting, a stroll or a slow discovery of local beauty.
But the truth is, you don’t have to go far to feel elsewhere.
A turn in the road, a spot on the map – and you’re already somewhere new, with different rhythms, new silences, and wide-open skies.
All year round
The Langhe around

Monforte d’Alba is one of those hilltop villages made for walking.
Its stone alleys wind quietly uphill, offering views and hidden corners at every step. At the top, a bell tower and an open-air auditorium mark the skyline — the stage of summer concerts and golden sunsets.
You’ll find wine bars tucked away behind old doors, restaurants that surprise with their flavours, and an atmosphere that wins you over without trying too hard.
Officially one of Italy’s “Most Beautiful Villages,” Monforte is a place with both character and calm. Whether you stop for a glass of wine, an evening concert or a walk through the lanes, one thing’s for sure: you won’t be in a hurry to leave.
BAROLO
2 km away
The name that made the Langhe world-famous. A tiny village with a huge wine heritage — from the historic castle-turned-Wine Museum (WiMu) to its many cellars and wine shops. The perfect place to sip, stroll, and take it all in.
LA MORRA
8 km away
A must-visit for its scenic viewpoint, delicious restaurants, and renowned Barolo producers. Don’t miss the colourful Barolo Chapel just outside town — an old church turned contemporary art landmark, standing bright among the vines.
SERRALUNGA D’ALBA
11 km away
A quiet, striking medieval village dominated by a fairytale castle — tall, narrow, and one of the best-preserved in Piedmont. The cobbled streets and silent charm make this place a timeless gem.
ALBA
16 km away
Famous for white truffles, food festivals and charming streets, Alba is the Langhe’s liveliest town. Think medieval towers, great cafés, historic shops and Saturday markets full of colour and flavour.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I’m Jessica, your host – and this house holds a piece of my story.
It once belonged to my grandparents, Laura and Edoardo: two joyful souls who loved ballroom dancing and knew how to make people feel at home.
Sogni di Paglia is my way of keeping their warmth alive – a place that’s simple, cared for, and full of life.
And I never say no to a good conversation about thoughtful renovation and home design.
I’LL BE WAITING FOR YOU IN THE LANGHE!
